Variations in Routines
1. The Charlie Brown - You must first be able to toe kick over your head before you can learn this trick. It starts with a toe kick over your head. Don't turn around but simply kick with either of your back feet and get the bag back over your head. Then keep kicking. I've only been able to do it seven consecutive times. It takes lots of practice but can be mastered.
2. Five Point Seat Belt - Start with a right inside kick and make it go over your right shoulder to a right Back Stab kicking it back over your head to a left inside kick that goes back over your left shoulder to a left Back Stab kick. Make sure that kick gets the footbag to your right foot and then do a full rainbow. A rainbow is when you use a right (or left) outside kick and make it go over your head to do a left (or right) outside kick, making it go back over your head to another right (or left) outside kick, and so on. Then finally do a pendulum and then keep playing. A Pendulum is where you stall the footbag on your toe and swing that leg behind you and flick the footbag over your head in front of you Nick W. submitted this combo trick and won a free Worlds Logo Stalling Star AND a FireFly footbag.
3. Freefall - Stall the footbag on your shoulder with or without your chin. After that, simply drop down and bend over. The bag should land on your back. Stand up straight and let it roll down and kick it over your head with the back of your foot.
4. Madman - Start with a "Vertical Chicken Scratch" (scrape the bottom of your foot towards yourself and across the top of a grounded footbag, forcing it onto your toe which rapidly pops it staright up) using your right foot. Next, "Toe Stall" the footbag with your left foot. From here, pass the footbag back to your right foot and do an "Inside Ground Stall" (catch the bag with the inside of your foot just as it touches the ground). With your stalling, right, foot still flat on the ground, use your left leg to step over your right one. Now you have to toss the bag up and turn your body 90 degrees to the right so you can quickly do a "Left Footed Backstab". Finally, turn your body 90 degrees back to the left, and stall the footbag on the outside of your right foot. SUGGESTION: speed is the key when performing the "Backstab". Chris M. submitted this combo trick and will receive a free Stalling Star as a prize.
5. Lee H. Matrix - Start off by kicking the footbag with either foot, doing a toe kick or an inside kick, kicking it over your head and kicking back over your head ("Back Stab"). Then as it comes over your head from behind bend backwards, bending your knees and bending your back and stall it on your chest.
6. Ten Point Seatbelt
To execute this trick you first have to start with a right inside kick and make it go over your right shoulder to a right Back Stab (where you kick the footbag with the bottom of your shoe making it go back over your head). Your Back Stab should kick it back over your head to a left inside kick that goes back over your left shoulder into a left Back Stab kick. Make sure that the kick gets the footbag to your right foot and then do a full Rainbow from there. A Rainbow is when you use a right or left outside kick and make it go over your head to do a left or right outside kick, making it go back over your head to another right or left outside kick and so on and so forth. From there, kick the footbag to a right inside kick then to a right outside kick ( a Mini-Rainbow) doing two full Mini-Rainbows. Then kick it to a Flying Clipper Rainbow and do that two times. A Flying Clipper Rainbow is a Rainbow with Flying Clippers on each side. After that do a right outside foot stall (or left depending on which foot you started the Flying Clipper Rainbow with) and pop that up into a left toe stall. Then with your left foot, you push the footbag onto the inside of your right foot (be careful of spraining your ankle!). Then, cross your left leg in front of your right leg and finally you lift your right foot like you are kicking your behind which should get the footbag to go in front of your where you keep kicking!!! Jeff L. submitted this combo of tricks and won a free Stalling Star.
7. Stalefish
First catch the footbag on either of your toes (toe stall), then proceed to launch the footbag up onto the top of your head (or hat) and stall it there. It helps if you kick it high into the air and position your head just right as it comes down. Just as you would catch the footbag on your foot, you want to bring your head down as the footbag lands on it (absorb the shock). Also, try to be looking straight forward, don't look up. You must then thrust your head backwards with an upwards motion as to hit the footbag with the underside of either foot - a Back Stab - (although it should be the same foot that you did the toe stall with) and hit it back up to your head (or hat) and stall it there again. From there you can repeat the process again by dropping down to your front side and doing another toe stall.
8. Neck Roll Combo
Start by kicking the footbag with the inside of your dominant foot a few times and kick it up high enough to do a neck stall. Then slowly start to lean back and it should roll down your back. Then do a simple back stab to the front of yourself and start to do Stalling Magic (see Jester trick #2).
9. Over the Rainbow
Start with the footbag on your toe and toss it up and behind your head. When it is on its way down, kick it with the sole of the same foot you started with so it goes directly above your head. There are many different endings to choose from: neck stall, forehead stall, chest stall, or hat/head stall, then flick it off and keep on kicking.
10. Wyvern
To do this trick you must first start by tossing the footbag in the air and stalling it on your right toe. With this completed you flinkg the footbag up into the air and do an outside foot stall with your right foot. From here you fling it up over your head to a stall on the outside of your left foot. This may take a few tries. Once this is completed you kick the footbag up with the outside of your left foot and catch it beind your head on the back of your neck. This is the hard part: from here you slowly stand up and let the footbag roll down your back onto the back of your right leg either : eiteher on the back of the thigh or the back of the lower leg, whichever one is easier for you. Then to finish it off you shoot the footbag using the back of your right foot over your head and begin kicking the footbag again normally. This trick is a real showstopper. You will amaze your friends. Always remember to practice, practice, practice! This was submitted by Colby H. who won a Stalling Star.
11. Lumberjack
Start with the footbag on your toe. Then kick it up and back a smidge so that it goes above your head. Lean forewards and let the footbag stall on the back of your neck. Quickly stand up straight and lean forewards once again. If done correctly, the footbag should go out a wee bit and start to let gravity take its course. Swing a back of your solekick while still leaning forewards. You should be in a T shape and the bag will bounce off your foot and fly back over your head. Then keep on kicking. It is called the lumberjack because the motion of leaning up then down then up is like a saw cutting through a tree. This was submitted by Colby H. who won a Stalling Star.
12. Cobra
First kick the footbag with the inside of your right foot. Then kick it with the outside of your left foot over your head. Then with the heel of your left foot kick it back over your head and then catch it with your toe on either foot. Then flip it up and continue kicking.
