Variations in Routines
31. Coast to Coast
Start by placing the footbag on your toe (toe stall). Then pop it up just a little and catch it on an outside stall. Pop up the footbag so that it stalls on your knee. Now, pop this up so it gets to your shoulder. Keep moving the footbag all the way around (toe, outside, knee, shoulder, head, other shoulder, other knee, other outside, and finally the other toe). You can also variate the move by kicking the footbag twice before moving to the next spont instead of stalling.. Zak A. submitted this trick and will receive a free Stalling Star.
32. The Stair Stepper
Ok, you start with the footbag in a toe stall. Then you flick it up to your knee and hit it to a head or hat stall. Then lean your head forward so the footbag falls towards your feet. Then you catch it in a toe stall. This is repeated one more time for it to be the Stair Stepper. See how many time syou can di it. I've gotten it 4 times so far.
33. The Elevator
Start by toe stalling with either foot. Then flick it up about eye level. Then do a Jester and on its way back down toe stall it on either foot. Then, flick it up to stall it on the back of your neck and roll it onto your shoulder. Raise your shoulder and kick it to another person. Looks very good when executed.
34. Head, Shoulder, Knee, and Toe
Do it just as it sounds...kick up to your head to a head stall...then let it roll down either side to a neck stall (use your ear to keep it there if necessary)...then to a knee stall as close to the knee cap as possible...then give it a little push into the air...then pull a nice toe stall...then put the footbag back into play.
35. Sphere Shoulder Roll
Get the footbag started with any moves you wish. When you are ready, kick the footbag straight up, above your head. Then, as it starts to come down, tilt forward slightly and allow the footbag to land just behind your left shoulder on your back. Then, roll your left shoulder forward while twisting your upper body to the right. If done correctly, the footbag should roll diagnoally down your back to your right hip. Allow it to keep rolling off your hip and then do an outside kick with your right foot as the footbag comes off your back. This will send the footbag back over your head so you can repeat the process. If timed correctly a very stylish "sphere" is performed because of the repetitive loop that the footbag is doing. Nathan Y. submitted this combo and won a free Stalling Star.
36. Flipped Combination
This is not as hard as it seems. First, start off with the footbag stalled on your dominant toe. Flip the footbag up about waist high and go around it with your foot (Around the World). Before your foot touches the footbag, twist your foot so it lands in an inside stall. Then, flip it off the inside stall and do a Clipper Stall (this is where you take your dominant foot and put it behind your back and stall it on the inside of that foot). Quickly toss the footbag straight up off the Clipper Stall and do a Super Jester straight up with your non-dominant foot. Then as it's coming down Super Jester the footbag again with your dominant foot, straight up. (The two "Super Jesters" put together is called a "Gauntlet"). Finally finish it all up with a neck stall (as the footbag is coming down, bend your head forward and catch it on your neck). Aaron D. submitted this combo and won a free Stalling Star.
37. The Humming Bird
First you throw the footbag up and kick it hard with the side of your foot (either foot) and stall it on your neck. Next, you roll it down the side of your neck and catch it between your legs. Next, you drop it off your legs and Jester it.
38. Down the Ladder
First kick the footbag and stall it on the top of your head. Next, roll the footbag down your head and try to catch it in your mouth (don't do this part if the footbag is dirty!) Then, throw it up from your mouth and stall it on your chest. Then roll it down your chest and stall it in your lap (as if you were sitting in a chair). Last, you let it roll down your leg and catch it inbetween your feet so you can pass it or just jump up and continue to kick.
39. Neck Roll Combo
Start by kicking the footbag with the inside of your dominant foot a few times and kick it up high enough to do a neck stall. Then slowly start to lean back and it should roll down your back. Then do a simple back stab to the front of yourself and start to do Stalling Magic (see trick #1).
40. Back and Forth Reverse Combo
Get a good kick that will go up to your head...bump the footbag on your head and immediately turn 180 degrees to catch the footbag with your foot...now flick the footbag up and over your head while turning another 180 degrees and try to catch it with your foot...to finish the trick up, pop the bag high and do a full 360 and try to stall any way you like.
41. Bump Up
To do this move you need a good stalling footbag like the Stalling Star. During your run, stall the footbag on the top of your foot. Then flick it up and stall it on your thigh. Then after that, flick it up and hit it with your head and catch it on your foot or thigh. Continue to do this for a few times. Remember when life's got you down pick up your footbag and keep go'n.
42.Forehead Stall Combo
Begin in any way you choose, such as on a toe delay (stall) for example. Flick the footbag up to the outside of your dominant leg in a good setup position to perform an outside kick that will bring it to above head level in the center of your body. Look up at the footbag and attempt to catch it on your forehead by bending your knees to absorb most of the shock of the impact. This is not a hard stall and looks great. When you're ready, stand up straight and look down, causing the footbag to roll off your forehead and fall down in front of you; a perfect setup for an inside kick with either leg, followed by a knee stall on that same leg. The knee stall is not as easy because the knee isn't as large a surface area as the forehead, but by starting your knee higher and lowering it when the footbag touches it, while bending your support leg, you can cushion and delay the bag. From the knee stall pop the footbag up and let it fall down in front of you and finally toe flick it back up to continue kicking. The toe flick at the end may take some practice and you may or may not have to shimmy back a little bit in order to execute it. Either that or you can augment the toe flick to become a toe stall from the knee stall and then pop it back up into play. Submitted by Mark B. who won a Stalling Star.
43.Christmas Tree
This is done by starting with the footbag in the hand and dropping it down and kicking it up with the right foot up to the right knee. Then, hit it hard with the knee so it makes it up to your head. Hit it with your head back down to your left knee and finally kick it with your left foot. Either return it to the right foot and start over, or try to go backwards through the process.
44. Side to Side
Drop your footbag into a toe stall on either toe. Flip your footbag up about knee high off your toe towards your other side. Toe stall the footbag on the toe where the bag is headed towards. Repeat the previous sequence about five times from foot to foot. On the sixth time, flip your footbag off your toe about waist high to the opposite thigh and stall it. Then hit it to the other thigh for another thigh stall. Repeat the first sequence about five times. On the sixth time, flip it about eight inches above your head to a head stall. Pop your footbag off your head into a Flying Clipper. Catch your footbag in your hand on the way down from the Flying Clipper. Practice makes perfect.
45. Jester Combo
Start off by just kicking the footbag around. To begin the combo, stall it on the brim of your hat. From there simply let it drop down and stall it on whatever foot you are most comfortable with. From there fling the footbag up in the air and stall it on your back. Then, let it roll down your neck towards your head and when it is close to falling off the end of your head, give it a nice whiplash effect flinging the footbag high in the air right in front of you. As it comes down, bend your knees and let the footbag stall nicely in your lap. To finish off the combo, let the bag fall through your legas and as you let it fall through, begin to stand up and cross your left leg over your right and kick it with the inside of your right foot like you would a Super Jester.
46. Body Stall
Begin this trick with a toe stall. Flick the footbag straight up above your head and stall it on your forehead. From here you need to look forward while leaning backwards so that the footbag will roll down and land on your chest. Next, crouch down into a squat position with your thighs pressed together. The footbag should roll down your stomach and land in this crevice that is created with the crouch. Now you have to gain your balance and pop your thighs up staying on your right foot. The left leg should squeeze just over the footbag before you land on that foot to then bring your right leg underneath and stall the footbag in a right footed Clipper stall (this is also known as a crouching butterfly). Finally, it is my personal preference to end by setting the Clipper stall up and back over toward the right leg where you can then circle the footbag from out to in and stall it on your right toe. People will be impressed! This was submitted by Chris M. who won a Stalling Star.
47. The AMP
Start with a Vertical Chicken Scratch (scrape the bottom of your foot towards yourself and across the top of a grunded footbag, forcing it onto your toe which rapidly pops it straight up). Pop it up and duck underneath the footbag, making it go into a back stall. Lean forward and make it stall on the back of your neck. Turn around and pop it up to a fellow kicker.
48. Tsunami Death Combo
Start off performing a Rainbow then pop it up and stall it on the outside of your left foot. Kick it up into the air and Jester it to yourself catching it in a nose stall and let it drop to an inside foot stall. From there you begin to spin on your support foot, using the momentum to keep the footbag pinned against your foot. Spin as fast and smooth as you can to keep it there. Spin seven times. Then, if you are not too dizzy, pop it up and perform the Pendulum to serve it to the next person.
49. The Sponge
Start by stalling the footbag on your toe (either one). Kick the bag up to about knee level, swing your leg over the bag and bend your knee. If done right, the footbag will be caught in the bend of your knee.
50. Seven Course Meal
It starts out with a toe stall on your left foot and from there you kick it up over the right side of your head and let the footbag roll down your back. Once the footbag reaches the back of your right heel, kick the footbag back over the right side of your head and toe stall it again on your right foot. From there, kick the footbag up and stall it on your left shoulder (if you are wearing a hat, stall it on the bill of your hat). Then drop the footbag down to your left knee. Last, while the footbag is still on your knee, pop it into the air and catch it in your mouth. To finish the move drop the bag to either foot and resume kicking. You do all of this without the bag touching the ground. This was submitted by Mark who won a Stalling Star.
51. The Knee Cannon
First do an inside toe stall with either foot. Then, hit the bag onto your left or right shoulder. Now it gets slightly tricky. With the footbag on your shoulder bring your opposite leg behind you and bend at the knee to make a pocket between the bag and your thigh and the back of your calf so that when you lean forward slightly to get the bag on the back of your shoulder you can straighten up SLOWLY and the bag rolls down your back and into the pocket you previously made with your opposite leg. (When you first try this trick it is helpful to bend your leg at the knee moving it back and forth slightly when the footbag is in the pocket to get it positioned so it is centered). Now that the bag is securely behind your knee, turn on your right foot until your back faces the direction in which you want the bag to go. Now, bring this leg forward with the knee still bent and get your knee as close to your stomach/chest as possible. Then literally stomp your foot onto the ground. The force of your straightening leg should send the footbag flying straight behind you at about shin level so that it connects with your target. It should bounce off his/her shins fast enough he/she will not have time to react. OR you can kick the leg holding the footbag directly behind you so that the force of your straightening leg causes the bag to go skyward and you can continue kicking. This trick and a game ("Kill") was submitted by Mike who won a Stalling Star.
52. Lumberjack
Start with the footbag on your toe. Then kick it up and back a smidge so that it goes above your head. Lean forewards and let the footbag stall on the back of your neck. Quickly stand up straight and lean forewards once again. If done correctly, the footbag should go out a wee bit and start to let gravity take its course. Swing a back of your solekick while still leaning forewards. You should be in a T shape and the bag will bounce off your foot and fly back over your head. Then keep on kicking. It is called the lumberjack because the motion of leaning up then down then up is like a saw cutting through a tree. This was submitted by Colby H. who won a Stalling Star.
53. Superman/Superwoman
Start by doing a toe stall. Then do a pop up*. Then do a Super Jester (also known as a Misty kick). Next do a head stall and pop it off your head to an inside foot stall. Flick the sack up and do an outside foot stall on the same foot. Next, flick the bag over your head and do a Rainbow. Finally, end with a shirt bounce but don't flick it out but keep it stalled in your shirt. Yell Superman if you're a guy and Superwoman if you're a girl. Flick the bag out and keep playing. *A popup is where you stall the bag on your foot and then press down on the big toe with your other foot hard which pops it up from your stalling foot to send the bag flying into the air. This was submitted by Alli W. who won a Stalling Star.
