Stalling TricksJester or Clipper - Page 3
You kick the footbag up so that it will come down on one side of you. Then you bring the foot from the other side behind your leg and kick the footbag with it sometimes jumping from the stationary leg when you do the kick.

This is the most used trick in stalling

Variations in Routines
61. The Blur
Begin with a clipper stall on the right foot. Pop the bag up about chest height. While jumping, perform an Around the World with the right foot and then toe stall with the left foot.
62. Jestall
To perform this trick, do a knee stall for about 3 seconds. Flip the footbag onto your foot from the knee to do a toe stall. Next do the Jester but we tweaked it up so instead of kicking the footbag with your other foot, perform an Around the World. Then kick the footbag with the other foot and send it to another kicker.
63. Gyrating Butterfly Swirl Delay
From a right Clipper set somewhat behind you, turn to the right passing the footbag behind your back and bring the right leg over the footbag from out to in (butterfly motion) without ever putting the right leg down. Now land on the right leg as you complete a swirl with the left leg. Note: this is a five add move!
64. The Flying Clipwalk
First do a Flying Clipper. Then do a Flying Clipper with your other foot.
65. Hamster Bang
Set from your right foot Clipper. Bob your head under the bag and then catch it on your other foot Clipper. In between the set and the catch, you put yoru hands on your knees and do the "charleston" dance motion. You need to be pretty quick to finish the charleston in time to catch the bag, but it looks really cool.
66. Round House Jester
This move can be especially smooth if you execute it properly. To start off the Round House, try inside kicking it close to your body. This will make your move easier. Kick the bag off to your left or right side. While jumping into the air, move your left (or right) leg behind the right (or left) leg and throw the opposite leg over the bag and kick the bag with the inside of your foot as if you were performing an inside kick.
67. Hand of God
When the bag is in the air, stall it on the outside of your left foot in mid-air not touching the ground. Then force your leg higher in the air, releasing the bag and Rainbowing it to your right side. Once its in good position, take your right hand and follow the top of the bag, pushing it faster. While doing this, jump up and do a Jester, pushing the bag down and then kicking it with your Jester foot. This releases the bag with huge height and speed. It's a really crazy move.
68. Flying Jester Flip Stall
First throw your bag in the air and kick it with the opposite foot from the one you usually use and kick it high enough to do a spin. Then cross your foot and stall the bag in a Jester position on your left foot.
69. The Matrix
Kick the bag just above your head and as it comes down, start leaning back so it lands in the middle your chest. Then, keep leaning back until you have gone as far as you can. Then, as you are standing up again, let it roll off your chest to the side and bust out a Jester. This trick is very hard to keep your balance while doing. After practise you can go lower and lower until your head actually touches the ground. For added effect, move yoru arms like you are dodging bullets.
70. Twelve Point
Start off by tossing the footbag about waist level and kick it with an inside kick, using your right foot. After you kick it, take your left foot around the footbag and kick it behind you using your right foot (Clipper). After you Clipper it, take your right foot over it into another Clipper. After you Clipper kick it with the inside of your left foot, do a right outside kick to a left outside kick. When it comes to about waist level, Clipper kick it using the heel of your left foot. After you Clipper it with your heel, kick it doing a mid-air Clipper stall using the inside of yoru right foot. Then, just pass it to someone else in the circle or just begin with a new trick.
71. Ballet Scooping Mid-Air Clipper Magic
Start with a right toe stall. Flip the bag to the right, back side. Step to face the bag (still in the air) and re-lift the right leg and turn leg so the heel is in the air above the toe and the knees are near touching. Move leg so bag hits the inside of the foot and start to move the right leg around the back of the left leg like in a scooping Clipper. When almost all the way around, jump (barely off the ground, maby one inch) in the air and because of the right leg's spinning movement, you should spin around in the air with the bag stuck to the inside of your right foot. When you land, the bag will leave your foot and shoot forward and if you turn in the right foot a lot, you can launch it in the air and continue playing. This was submitted by Jacob W. who won a Stalling Star.
72. Side to Side
Drop your footbag into a toe stall on either toe. Flip your footbag up about knee high off your toe towards your other side. Toe stall the footbag on the toe where the bag is headed towards. Repeat the previous sequence about five times from foot to foot. On the sixth time, flip your footbag off your toe about waist high to the opposite thigh and stall it. Then hit it to the other thigh for another thigh stall. Repeat the first sequence about five times. On the sixth time, flip it about eight inches above your head to a head stall. Pop your footbag off your head into a Flying Clipper. Catch your footbag in your hand on the way down from the Flying Clipper. Practice makes perfect.
73. Jester Combo
Start off by just kicking the footbag around. To begin the combo, stall it on the brim of your hat. From there simply let it drop down and stall it on whatever foot you are most comfortable with. From there fling the footbag up in the air and stall it on your back. Then, let it roll down your neck towards your head and when it is close to falling off the end of your head, give it a nice whiplash effect flinging the footbag high in the air right in front of you. As it comes down, bend your knees and let the footbag stall nicely in your lap. To finish off the combo, let the bag fall through your legas and as you let it fall through, begin to stand up and cross your left leg over your right and kick it with the inside of your right foot like you would a Super Jester.
74. Rounded Super Clipper
Now for this trick you want to have your inside delay (inside of your foot stall), toe delay (toe stall), outside delay (outside of your foot stall) and your sole delay (the underside of your foot stall). First, start the trick by doing an inside delay. Next you want to barely toss it up , maybe an inch off your foot, or if you can try to roll it to a toe delay. After it's there do the same thing, the small toos or roll, into an ouside delay. Now this is a little hard: do that little toss or roll to the bottom of your foot into the sole stall. Now hold it there. Then what you want to do is don't move the foot you have the stall on and bend the leg you are standing on so that the knee of the foot you have the footbag on is at your ankle of the foot you are stand on. Now, at the same time stand up and flick your foot so the footbag goes over your head and quickly perform a Super Clipper which is pretty much a Jester/Clipper but you wrap your left leg (saying you are right footed) foot around the footbag out to in and jump up with your right foot and put it behind your left leg and do an inside kick. After that you can do whatever you want.
75. Body Stall
Begin this trick with a toe stall. Flick the footbag straight up above your head and stall it on your forehead. From here you need to look forward while leaning backwards so that the footbag will roll down and land on your chest. Next, crouch down into a squat position with your thighs pressed together. The footbag should roll down your stomach and land in this crevice that is created with the crouch. Now you have to gain your balance and pop your thighs up staying on your right foot. The left leg should squeeze just over the footbag before you land on that foot to then bring your right leg underneath and stall the footbag in a right footed Clipper stall (this is also known as a crouching butterfly). Finally, it is my personal preference to end by setting the Clipper stall up and back over toward the right leg where you can then circle the footbag from out to in and stall it on your right toe. People will be impressed! This was submitted by Chris M. who won a Stalling Star.
76. Inside Out
Start by dropping the footbag to your foot (either foot), doing a toe stall. Then flip it up and inside stall it. Hold it there while you get your balance. Now, take that foot you just inside stalled on and bring it around the back of your other leg which is just there for support and go kind of fast so the footbag doesn't fall off your foot. When you bring your leg around you want to flick it from the inside stall position you have it in so it goes in front of you. Continue kicking it until you do the exact same thing you just did only with the other foot. This trick takes some practice because it's pretty tough to get your leg aorund the back of your other leg without the footbag falling off your foot but practice makes perfect.
77. Break Dance
Start with your dominent leg crossed over the other leg with the footbag on the dominent one. First pop it up and do a 360 degree spin. Catch it on the dominent foot again, no cross over necessary. Pop it up again and do a squat-thrust (a squat-thrust is when you crouch into a squat position and then get into a push-up position). Try to gently catch it on the back of your neck. Quickly jump up, again launching the footbag into the air. Catch it now in a Jester, spin 360 degrees (without it falling). At the end of the spin pop it SLIGHTLY to waist height, and HOP over it. I feel it is needed that to gain momentum on the hop at the end -- I spin too while jumping. Catch it in an outside stall and you are done.
78. Tsunami Death Combo
Start off performing a Rainbow then pop it up and stall it on the outside of your left foot. Kick it up into the air and Jester it to yourself catching it in a nose stall and let it drop to an inside foot stall. From there you begin to spin on your support foot, using the momentum to keep the footbag pinned against your foot. Spin as fast and smooth as you can to keep it there. Spin seven times. Then, if you are not too dizzy, pop it up and perform the Pendulum to serve it to the next person.
79. Rainbow's Pot'O'Gold
Start with the outside left foot and kick the bag over your head. Then, instead of kicking it as you normally would with a right outside foot kick, you catch it with the inside of your right foot and bring it back behind your left leg, almost a planted (meaning that your foot is on the ground) Jester (in this case the right foot is going behind your left leg) and bring the bag back up on the left side and pop it up so you can get your feet back in normal position and then end in a toe stall. It works best with sand filled footbags but can also be done with a pellet-filled one.
80. Superman/Superwoman
Start by doing a toe stall. Then do a pop up*. Then do a Super Jester (also known as a Misty kick). Next do a head stall and pop it off your head to an inside foot stall. Flick the sack up and do an outside foot stall on the same foot. Next, flick the bag over your head and do a Rainbow. Finally, end with a shirt bounce but don't flick it out but keep it stalled in your shirt. Yell Superman if you're a guy and Superwoman if you're a girl. Flick the bag out and keep playing. *A popup is where you stall the bag on your foot and then press down on the big toe with your other foot hard which pops it up from your stalling foot to send the bag flying into the air. This was submitted by Alli W. who won a Stalling Star.
81. Russian Jester
Kick the footbag to chest level and drop into a Russian (crouch). Let it land in-between your legs then jump up letting it slide through and do a nice little tight Super Jester..\
