1. Rainbow (another description)
Step 1: Throw your footbag up beside you. Step 2. Next, hit the footbag up and over your head with the outside of your foot. Step 3: When the footbag starts to come down from over the top of your head, hit it on the outside of your other foot back over your head. If you get real good, you can do it over and over without stopping.

2. Flying Clipper Rainbow - This move is a lot like a Rainbow. You start out by doing a normal Flying Clipper (where you jump up and put your kicking leg under your supporting leg and kick it -- also known as a Jester). Kick it so the footbag goes over your head and do another Flying Clipper but kicking the footbag with your opposite leg. Make it go back over your head and do another normal Flying Clipper. Do this as many times as you can without dropping it and when you are done kick the footbag up and do a normal kick or stall it on your foot. Ethan W. submitted this trick and won a free Worlds Logo Stalling Star.

3. Rainbow Jester (a different description of number 1) - First you need to know how to do a Jester. A Jester is where you bring your kicking foot behind your other leg and kick the footbag. Start off in any type of stall. I recommend the inside foot stall (a stall on the inside part of your kicking foot with your leg bent up). Pop the footbag up and over your shoulder, doing a Jester with the same foot you kicked with. Now here's the tricky part: kick the footbag back and fourth, each time switching Jesters (using your right foot, then your left foot, and so on. It takes lots of practice.
|
4. The Show Stopper - Start with a toe stall on either foot. From there, flick the sack up and stall it on the inside of your same foot. Then do a small rainbow to stall it on the outside of your other foot. Then kick the sack back down to a toe stall on that same foot. Then from your toe flick the sack to the other side of your body and jester out of it to another circle member. Tyler submitted this combo trick and won a free Stalling Star.
|
5. Spin the Funky - Start off with a toe stall on the left foot and pop it up. Inside kick it with the right foot to an outside kick straight up in the air. Do a full spin to the left and inside kick it again with the right foot. Then connect with it to do a rainbow (with an ouside right kick) over to an outside left kick. Pop it back over to an inside stall with the right foot. Pop it up for a right footed Clipper (that's where you jump up and put your kicking leg under your jumping leg and inside kick it - AKA Jester) to another player. Voila!
|
6. Double Rainbow - Kick with a friend and then line up shoulder to shoulder and one kicker kicks the footbag with the outside of his/her foot kicking it over his/her AND the other kicker's heads. When the receiving kicker stalls the footbag on his/her outside foot he/she returns it in the same fasion (over both heads). Then you both go back to kicking to each other.
|
7. Outkast Jester - Start out by first doing a Jester with the left foot kicking the footbag and make it go to the right outside. Then, stall the footbag on the outside of your right foot. Next flick the footbag over your head doing a Rainbow. Then do another Jester but kick the footbag with your right foot, then stall the footbag on the outside of your left foot. The, finally, do a Super Jester. Then keep kicking. Note: A Super Jester (also known as a Misty Kick or Impossible Jester) is where you jump and make your right or left leg go over your footbag, then you kick it with the opposite leg with the style of a Jester. Drew J. submitted this combo trick and won a free Stalling Star and a 5P deCinco as prizes. This is a whole series of moves and explanations.

8. Spinning Rainbow Jester Stall - With the footbag still on the ground, stand to the left of it with your feet about 2 inches apart. Then, using whichever foot you feel comfortable using, sideways "Chicken Scratch" (a "Chicken Scratch" is where you take your foot and quickly drag the tip of your toe towards yourself and over the top of the footbag on the ground, then quickly toe flick it up causing it to rise straight up in front of you) the footbag over your right foot (don't do the toe flick just yet, cause you will mess up the trick). Once the footbag has gone over your right foot (assuming that's your dominant foot) bring your left foot straight up causing the footbag to go in front of you. Then toe stall the footbag with your opposite foot, toe flicking it up into a toe stall on your dominant foot. Then toe flick it up once more but this time as the footbag is falling, jump over it and catch the footbag in an inside foot stall BEHIND you. You then pop it up and over your shoulder while turning 90 degrees. When it hits about waist height you inside stall the footbag again with the foot you are catching it with, BEHIND your other leg (so looking like you are doing a "Jester" but not actually jumping -- a "Jester" is where you hit the footbag up then jumping up with one foot, you bring the foot you left on the ground straight up and under you as if you are trying to sit cross legged in the air while having the other leg straight forward with a slight bend in the knee). You then pop it straight up, spin a full 360 degrees, and do another inside foot stall in the "Jester" position. Do this about three times but on the 4th time instead of just catching it in an inside foot stall, let it get almost all the way to the ground and then do the inside foot stall (I like to call this the Jester Stall). Pop it over to your opposite side and Jester stall it again on that side. Then once more pop it straight up into a revert Jester (this is where you wrap your leg around the footbag from the inside out, BUT IT HAS TO BE USING YOUR NON-DOMINANT FOOT TO HIT THE FOOTBAG) and finally finish the combo by "Zombieing" the footbag to yourself and then continuing kicking it or pass it off. (A "Zombie" is where the footbag falls and hits the ground in front of you but you INSTANTLY "Chicken Scratch" it straight up to yourself --- by instantly I mean within about 1/2 second after it hits the ground).

9. Five Point Seat Belt - Start with a right inside kick and make it go over your right shoulder to a right Back Stab kicking it back over your head to a left inside kick that goes back over your left shoulder to a left Back Stab kick. Make sure that kick gets the footbag to your right foot and then do a full rainbow. A rainbow is when you use a right (or left) outside kick and make it go over your head to do a left (or right) outside kick, making it go back over your head to another right (or left) outside kick, and so on. Then finally do a pendulum and then keep playing. A Pendulum is where you stall the footbag on your toe and swing that leg behind you and flick the footbag over your head in front of you Nick W. submitted this combo trick and won a free Worlds Logo Stalling Star AND a FireFly footbag.

10. Ten Point Seatbelt
To execute this trick you first have to start with a right inside kick and make it go over your right shoulder to a right Back Stab (where you kick the footbag with the bottom of your shoe making it go back over your head). Your Back Stab should kick it back over your head to a left inside kick that goes back over your left shoulder into a left Back Stab kick. Make sure that the kick gets the footbag to your right foot and then do a full Rainbow from there. A Rainbow is when you use a right or left outside kick and make it go over your head to do a left or right outside kick, making it go back over your head to another right or left outside kick and so on and so forth. From there, kick the footbag to a right inside kick then to a right outside kick ( a Mini-Rainbow) doing two full Mini-Rainbows. Then kick it to a Flying Clipper Rainbow and do that two times. A Flying Clipper Rainbow is a Rainbow with Flying Clippers on each side. After that do a right outside foot stall (or left depending on which foot you started the Flying Clipper Rainbow with) and pop that up into a left toe stall. Then with your left foot, you push the footbag onto the inside of your right foot (be careful of spraining your ankle!). Then, cross your left leg in front of your right leg and finally you lift your right foot like you are kicking your behind which should get the footbag to go in front of your where you keep kicking!!! Jeff L. submitted this combo of tricks and won a free Stalling Star.

11. The Mystery Meat
Start with a left toe stall and switch to a right toe stall. Then to an inside right stall. Throw up the footbag to do a right foot Jester and catch it with a left toe stall. Flip the footbag up and stall it on the back of the neck. Let the footbag roll off the right shoulder and stall it with a left foot Jester. Flip it up to a right foot Rainbow and hit it with a right foot Jester.

12. Nairwob
The name "Nairwob" is the word rainbow shuffled. Meaning that this trick is LIKE a rainbow but with a couple more stalls added to it. It starts with an average toe stall. Then, kick the footbag up to the back of your neck. Then let the footbag roll down your back and quickly do a rainbow. The hardest part of this trick is making contact with the footbag when doing the rainbow part. It helps if you quickly move your rear end outward when the footbag is in that area so that it moves the footbag out in easier range of your leg.
|
13. Over the Rainbow
First get the footbag and do a toe stall. Then try to flig it to yoru side and stall it with the outside of your foot. Then fling it all the way to the other side (over your head) and try to stall it on the outside of your other foot. Next, try to get it behind you and stall it on the sole of your shoe and fling it back over your head and keep kicking it.
|
14. Hit the Floor
To start this trick, kick the footbag a couple times, show your skills, then kick the footbag to a head stall. From the head stall jump and try to get the footbag in the air to a back stall or right behind the neck. From that, let the footbag drop and do a Rainbow so it comes all the way over your body. But you have to be quick because when it is over you in the air, go down on the ground and let the footbag hit your stomach area. Then on the ground try to come back up and keep on getting kicks on the footbag. It's a lot of fun once you are able to master the trick.

15. The Magical Rainbow
Start by receiving a pass and doing a Rainbow. Hit the Rainbow over your head three times. Then stall it on your neck, then pop it up and do a toe stall. Then you can pass it. It looks really neat if you can do it to perfection. |
16. Sick Combo
Start with an Around the Back start (see Starts) to a toe stall on the right foot. Toss the footbag over to the left side and do a Clipper and spin the right leg back around to an inside stall. Flip the footbag to a knee tap to outside stall. Rainbow the footbag to an opposite outside stall, then toss the footbag into the air and jump to the left foot and Flying Clipper (Jester) the footbag with the right foot to a right leg knee stall. Let the footbag roll to an outside stall on the right foot. Flip the footbag to a heel stall and do a Scooping Clipper. Catch the footbag in a hat and put the hat back on with the footbag inside and walk away. Jacob W. submitted 3 tricks/combos and won a free Stalling Star and a deCinco. |
17. Ducking Rainbow Stall
Stall on the outside of your right foot. Then pop it up at your head and DUCK!! Then as it travels over your ducked head, stall it on your left foot. |
18. The Irish Linedance
Begin with an inside kick and kick it from your right foot to about two feet away from your left at knee height. Then jump sideways and kick the footbag while clicking your heels - your right foot should be extended more than the left, so this way you will kick the bag over your head as though to do a Rainbow but while it is in the air spin 180 degrees so you are facing the opposite direction you were before. Then the bag should come down about a foot away from you left side again where you kick it with your left foot over your head in a Rainbow but while it is in the air again spin 180 degrees. Then repeat the trick from the beginning again. You will be doing half rainbows. This and four other tricks submitted by Terry L. who won a Stalling Star. |
19. The Illusionist - Start with the bag between your legs and hold it with your left toe against the inside of your foot in the middle of your shoe. Then roll your foot sideways so the bag is resting on the inside of your foot like an inside stall. Then bring your foot behind your left leg like you jest did a Jester. Then flick it out towards somebody and catch it as it gets close to them bringing it behind your back as if you are trying to scratch your back, and throw it over your left shoulder which should put the bag by the outside of your left foot. Then do a full rainbow and an inside kick to a backstab, passing to someone or continue on your own. This and four other tricks submitted by Terry L. who won a Stalling Star.

20. Conveyer Belt (and Candy Factory)
Start with the footbag in your hand and toss it to your dominant side. Outside kick it towards the center of your body, then inside kick it straight up and when it falls, inside kick it with the other foot on the other side of your body and when it falls again kick it with the inside of that foot. You can end in a Rainbow for a "Candy Factory" or just keep on kicking for the "Conveyer Belt". |
21. Duck Walk
A twist on the classic Rainbow. Get into your Rainbow groove and start walking. As you do so, start to get lower to the gorund until you are waddling. Fold your arms like wings and Quack! Gets progressively harder and with being so low and gets a lot of laughs. |
22. Leprechaun Combo
This involves three linked tricks: Rainbow, Pot of Gold, Leprechaun. Get in the Rainbow groove again only this time get a topside foot stall at the end (Pot of Gold). Now do the Leprechaun: move the foot with the bag on it a little to the outside (rotate knee sideways) and start to bring it back so it will roll to the inside of the foot. And in a continuous motion, lift the leg into the air (inside) and hop while transfering the bag to an inside stall with the other foot and land on the leg that performed the Pot of Gold. |
23. Hand of God
When the bag is in the air, stall it on the outside of your left foot in mid-air not touching the ground. Then force your leg higher in the air, releasing the bag and Rainbowing it to your right side. Once its in good position, take your right hand and follow the top of the bag, pushing it faster. While doing this, jump up and do a Jester, pushing the bag down and then kicking it with your Jester foot. This releases the bag with huge height and speed. It's a really crazy move. |
24. Tsunami Death Combo
Start off performing a Rainbow then pop it up and stall it on the outside of your left foot. Kick it up into the air and Jester it to yourself catching it in a nose stall and let it drop to an inside foot stall. From there you begin to spin on your support foot, using the momentum to keep the footbag pinned against your foot. Spin as fast and smooth as you can to keep it there. Spin seven times. Then, if you are not too dizzy, pop it up and perform the Pendulum to serve it to the next person. |
25. Rainbow's Pot'O'Gold
Start with the outside left foot and kick the bag over your head. Then, instead of kicking it as you normally would with a right outside foot kick, you catch it with the inside of your right foot and bring it back behind your left leg, almost a planted (meaning that your foot is on the ground) Jester (in this case the right foot is going behind your left leg) and bring the bag back up on the left side and pop it up so you can get your feet back in normal position and then end in a toe stall. It works best with sand filled footbags but can also be done with a pellet-filled one. |
26. Rainbow Slap'n'Pop
First throw the footbag up to your preferred side foot and get an inside kick. Kick it so that you can get it further to your side and then get an outside kick. After it bounces off the outside of your foot and before it gets too high in the air, use the side of your hand to slap it down back onto the outside of your foot and then kick it to your other side and do the same series on your other side. Also try a stall on the outside before popping it up to slap it down if you want to be really tricky. It really helps if you get the side of your foot as straight as you can to get it to go further up in the air so your have more time to get in position for the slap'n'pop on your other leg. By the way, slap'n'pop is also a style to use playing the bass guitar! |
27. Superman/Superwoman
Start by doing a toe stall. Then do a pop up*. Then do a Super Jester (also known as a Misty kick). Next do a head stall and pop it off your head to an inside foot stall. Flick the sack up and do an outside foot stall on the same foot. Next, flick the bag over your head and do a Rainbow. Finally, end with a shirt bounce but don't flick it out but keep it stalled in your shirt. Yell Superman if you're a guy and Superwoman if you're a girl. Flick the bag out and keep playing. *A popup is where you stall the bag on your foot and then press down on the big toe with your other foot hard which pops it up from your stalling foot to send the bag flying into the air. This was submitted by Alli W. who won a Stalling Star. |
